The second half of the 2026 season is perhaps the most diverse half-season we have put together so far.
From the Danube and the vineyards of Ilok, across the Istrian hills, Kvarner islands and the deep south of Croatia, all the way to the winter season finale on Krk — autumn 2026 takes us through six completely different destinations, six different characters and at least six reasons why the bicycle remains the best way to discover the world around you.
The legendary Epic Rides.
Stories are told about Ilok and for many it is their first favourite among Epic Rides. It was not held last year, and this year it returns in a new date — right at the end of summer.
The easternmost point of Croatia. A place where the Danube kisses the sky. Vineyards, Srijem hills, scents and sounds that are different from anything else.
Last year's most attended and the earliest sold-out Epic Rides in history.
Istria in full glory: olive groves, hills, stone houses, vineyards and plenty of small roads that seem made to be ridden by bicycle.
Gentle enough to enjoy. Playful enough to never be boring.
Cres is a completely different story.
An island, the sea, stone, climbs, views and the feeling that you have escaped everyday life the moment you stepped off the ferry.
One of those Epic Rides events where the destination immediately takes the leading role. Cres is not just a beautiful backdrop — Cres is a character. Raw, open, maritime and unforgettable.
And very likely still great for a swim off the promenade after the ride.
Geographically — a neighbouring island. In atmosphere and energy — something completely different from Cres.
The fourth season of Epic Rides on Rab says enough about its popularity, and what always surprises again and again is the incredible diversity of this small island of happiness.
An added bonus is the post-season: no crowds, no rush, and still warm enough to enjoy on a bicycle under the Mediterranean sun.
PloÄŤe is the grand finale of the regular Epic Rides season.
The south of Croatia, the Neretva river, the Baćina Lakes, the sea, the valley, the water and a landscape that looks as if several completely different worlds merged in one place.
This event carries special weight because it closes the season. After months of riding, travelling, socialising and new routes, PloÄŤe is an opportunity to round off the year where nature is wide, different and truly special.
In Ploče we are preparing two days of programme. Yes, for many it is a bit further — but it is worth the trip for a little more sun, sea and the south before winter.
And then, when the season "should" already be over, comes Šotovento — winter special.
An extra event. A winter addition. Krk in a different edition. The first day of the Advent opening and the last chance in the year to ride one more Epic Ride together, and in the evening have a drink under the lights and Christmas melodies.
Ĺ otovento is not a classic finale. It is more like a bonus chapter after the end of the book. Less pressure, more atmosphere, a bit of winter charm and one more reason not to put the bicycle away too early.
And yes — the number of participants will be limited.
Ilok, Buje, Cres, Rab, PloÄŤe and Ĺ otovento together make perhaps the most interesting series of destinations we have had in the second half of the season.
